What they had to say about the Sheppard Grand Auditorium:

"...Beautiful aesthetics do not always translate into an equivalent quality of tone, in my experience, but the Sheppard did not disappoint in this respect...one is immediately struck by how light this guitar is, and just how comfortable it is to play… I found the guitar so easy to play  that at one point I checked the scale length to make sure it actually was the the 25.4” recorded in the specification. …the low mids add warmth to the sound, and the trebles sing out with a delightful combination both strength and sweetness. There’s no shortage of volume from this instrument, but it’s capable of great subtlety, too, and I can only describe it as very much a player’s instrument. I found it inspiring to play, as it responded so well to playing dynamics, and captured perfectly the nuances of expression in the player’s touch...It’s been my privilege to play some truly wonderful instruments during the time I’ve been writing for Acoustic, and this Sheppard Grand Auditorium is right up there with the best of them."
